Update from Day 4 on the Salt
Bronze Aussie had a run mid-morning on Thursday. The car ran with a speed of 266 mph ( 428 km/h) . From all reports the engine issues have been sorted by replacing the Distributor Cap. The plan was to have another run later in the afternoon . This is the current top speed of the meet. The car has also broken the top speed record for the AA competition coupe class.
The car was inline for its next run when rain & high winds hit the track. The team is hoping to get another run in on Friday morning.
